The Project: We were commissioned by a valued, existing client to manage the complete replacement of 33 dated boilers within a large block of flats.

The Challenge: This was a highly complex logistical project. The building was connected to a live shopping centre, and the boilers were situated across multiple floors. The primary challenge involved designing and installing new, compliant flue systems, with some runs exceeding 25 meters and passing through multiple floors before terminating.

Our Solution: Meticulous planning was the key to success.

• Our team developed comprehensive Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) to ensure safety and full compliance with both manufacturer and building requirements.
• We successfully engineered the installation process to avoid the need for hot works permits, enhancing site safety and minimising disruption.
• Our on-site team was flexible, scaling from 2 to 5 specialist engineers as required by
  the demands of each phase.
• A dedicated operations assistant managed all site logistics, ensuring materials were
  delivered and waste was removed efficiently, keeping the project on schedule.

The Result: All 33 boilers were installed successfully and safely. Following each installation, our team meticulously documented all flue connections with photographs using our CRM system. We handled all final certifications and registered every boiler with building control, providing a fully compliant, high-performance heating solution and complete peace of mind for our client.
